What we collect
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (G-T0BJZ9YD16). Analytics storage defaults to denied in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, and granted elsewhere. See Cookies and Privacy for browser controls and ways to object.
Under this site’s regional configuration, analytics storage is denied by default in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland. No consent management platform (CMP) is configured here, so there is no site control that grants analytics storage in those regions. Elsewhere, Google Analytics 4 analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) are enabled by default under this site’s regional configuration. This is the site’s regional policy, not a legal determination, and this site provides no on-site cookie popup, settings panel or revocation control.
You can block or delete _ga and _ga_* cookies in your browser settings, or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on (which supports gtag.js). Deleting cookies alone does not prevent them from being set again unless you also block them in your browser. Browser blocking controls and add-on support depend on your browser, and not every mobile browser supports add-ons. See Cookies for full details.
This site is a set of static files. There is no account, no login, no form that submits anywhere, and no database. The letters you type into the solver are matched inside your own browser against a word list it has downloaded — they are never sent anywhere, because there is nowhere to send them.
Advertising
This site shows no advertising, and ships no advertising manifest of any kind.
Server logs
The web server that delivers these files records ordinary request information (the page requested, the time, the browser’s user-agent and IP address) as every web server does. That log is used to keep the site running and is not combined with anything else.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may ask what personal data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, object, and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Write to info@letterkit.co.uk to object or ask about data (email is for enquiries and objections, not an immediate browser opt-out; use your browser settings to block cookies, or the Google add-on to prevent Google Analytics from using data about your visits).
